This project mainly focuses on the farming families who are affected by CKD located in North Central, Uva, North Western and Central Provinces of Sri Lanka. An estimated number of 78,000 rice farming families are known to have been affected by this unfortunate Chronic disease. The first phase of this plan will span from 2019-2023.
Activities under this programme has been planned for selected 6 districts. Three out of these districts come under Eastern province namely, Ampara, Trincomalee, and Batticaloa.
